Please also remember that you cannot compare EPDs between breeds. The yearling weights are calculated from weights and are not official. —————————————– Delivery: We will deliver bulls within 100 miles on purchases over $3000. We will assist in making arrangements for other and out of state delivery. Shipment is at buyers risk, Insurance is recommended. Bull feeding and care program: Feeding and care of bulls is available for $2/day . Insurance is advisable. Our best care will be used, however we take NO responsibility for death loss. Lot Numbers: The tags on animals correspond with the lot numbers in catalog. Yellow tags are Simmental or composites and white tags are Angus —————————————– SALE ORDER For your convenience, bulls will sell in catalog order. They are grouped by fall, spring and sire groups. For you, this means there are top end bulls all the way through the sale. It also allows you to purchase bulls of similar genetics in a group run. ALL CATTLE HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR PI BVD AND ARE NEGATIVE Ultrasound and semen check information will be available sale day |
General Information Sale Location: Sunflower Genetics is located south of Interstate 70, west of Topeka, KS or east of Manhattan. Exit 346, south 3 1/2 miles on Carlson Road. Left turn on 33rd Street. 1/2 mile east to sale location. Watch for signs. Inspection: Cattle will be at the sale location Friday, February 29 or could be viewed at the ranch beforehand. Terms and Conditions: The standard Terms & Condtions of the American Angus and Simmental Associations will apply. Copies will be available sale day. Insurance: Will be available at the buyer’s option. Liability: All persons attending sale do so at their own risk. Sunflower Genetics assumes no liability for property damage or accidents that may occur. Satisfaction Guaranteed: Your full satisfaction is guaranteed. Bulls are guaranteed to be satisfactory breeders for the 1st breeding season. Injured bulls will be replaced with a satisfactory replacement or we will issue a credit equal to the bulls purchase price less reasonable salvage value of $1000. Please call us about any problems before culling a bull. This is not a life insurance policy. We will not replace a dead bull for any reason. Insurance is available for such purposes. Mail or Phone Bids: Buyers unable to attend may contact any of the livestock journal representatives or Sunflower Genetics. Satisfaction guaranteed. Lunch: A complimentary lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Motels: There are numerous motels in Topeka (10 miles east), Manhattan (45 miles west). Contact us for details.
